The Smithsonian announced this week that the National Musuem of the American Latino will open its first gallery dedicated to the Latino Experience June 18.
Dr. Faustino Bernadett and his wife Dr. Martha Molina Bernadett are particularly excited for the debut of: Molina Family Latino Gallery and “¡Presente! A Latino History of the United States” at the National Museum of American History.
Nurturing a New Generation
Dr. Faustino Bernadett enjoys working closely with the Smithsonian Latino Center as a former board member. The Latino Center works throughout the Smithsonian and alongside affiliated museums to promote understanding of U.S. Latino history and contributions to the humanities, arts, and sciences.
This gallery has been a long time in the making. The Molina Family Latino Gallery was made possible by support from individuals, foundations and corporations.
