March 28, 2026, Seal Beach was full of energy as runners, walkers, and families came together for the annual Run Seal Beach 5K, 10K, and Kids Fun Run. This well-loved event has become a community tradition over the years, offering a morning filled with activity, fun, and opportunities for people of all ages to connect and enjoy time together.

Faustino Bernadett and his family are longtime supporters of Run Seal Beach, helping ensure the event continues to make a positive impact locally. Dr. Bernadett’s involvement demonstrates his commitment to fostering community spirit and supporting initiatives that bring neighbors together while promoting healthy, active lifestyles.

Run Seal Beach is organized entirely by volunteers, which means that nearly every dollar raised goes directly back into the community. Since its start in 1999, the event has contributed more than $2 million to local programs, supporting schools, youth sports, recreation activities, and public safety efforts in Seal Beach, Rossmoor, and Los Alamitos. From funding school initiatives to providing resources for youth sports and safety programs, the benefits of Run Seal Beach reach far beyond the day of the race. The event’s success depends on the dedication of volunteers, participants, and supporters like Faustino Bernadett, whose involvement helps ensure it continues to be a positive force in the community.

Alongside his wife, Dr. Martha Molina Bernadett, Faustino “Tino” Bernadett actively supports a wide range of causes both locally and nationally. Their work spans education, healthcare access, and community development. By backing events like Run Seal Beach, they help create opportunities for children and families, strengthen neighborhood connections, and promote programs that improve the community for everyone. Their involvement reflects a deep commitment to giving back and fostering a sense of shared responsibility in Seal Beach and beyond.

Tino kicked off the morning by starting the race with the airhorn. From the first group of runners heading out to spectators cheering along the course, the event had a great energy and brought the community together once again.
